About the Position:

As the Office Administrator/Bookkeeper at Dryco, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and financial processes. You will be responsible for managing accounts receivable and payable, maintaining accurate financial records, performing payroll and HR administration for 26+ employees, and providing insightful financial reporting to support our business objectives.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. Accounts receivable management includes Invoicing, collections and deposits. Accounts payable include entering invoices, receipts and processing checks.
  • Payroll and HR: Manage personal files and HR administration duties. Process payroll and work with our outside accountant to process taxes. Administer employee benefit programs.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports as requested to assist management in decision making.
  • Office Administration: Oversee day-to-day office operations including filing, organizing documents and maintaining office supplies.
  • Customer & Vendor interactions: Communicate with clients regarding Accounts receivable or vendors regarding Accounts payable. Assist with answering phones as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
  • Compliance: This will include keeping licenses, certifications, state and federal regulations compliant.
 

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a bookkeeper/accountant or office administrator. Accounting degree preferred but not required.
  • Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks Desktop) and Microsoft office (Excel and Word)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Have passion for our team, your job and our clients
  • Must have clean driving records, driver’s license, be able to pass a background check, and drug test.
